Product Review: Tony Moly Tomatox Brightening Eye Serum

Yoboseo~! I have been gone for a looooong time, but I’m glad nobody unfollowed me. Or so, I think. I love you, beauty blog friends. *hugs*

Today, I will be reviewing Tony Moly’s Tomatox Brightening Eye Serum. It’s supposed to moisturize and get rid of dark circles. I have been using it for almost 3 months now, and I can say that I am ready to gauge its effectivity.

Of course, everything is written in Korean.

Made in Korea, Expires 12 months after opening.

It comes in a sleek squeeze tube packaging with a twist-off cap. This makes application hygienic, and easy since you can control the amount you need.

It’s a gel type product, and it’s easily absorbed by the skin. A little goes a long way, so this product would last you up to 5-6 months. So, is it effective? I can say that my dark circles have dramatically reduced. I wish I had taken before and after pictures. My dark circles are still there, but with a light layer of concealer, they’re gone. Lol. Also, the deep lines in my lower eye area are starting to disappear. Eep! Take note though, that I am using it in conjunction with an Avon’s Solutions Plus Refined White Eye cream which I’m going to review too.

What I liked about the Tomatox Eye Serum:

  • Effective, though it may take some time. But this is skincare, we all know it’s not overnight.
  • Easily absorbed by the skin.
  • Didn’t irritate my sensitive skin.
  • Smell is relaxing, nothing overpowering.
  • Price is 700+ but I got this on sale for 300+ only. It’s worth it because it would last a long time.
  • Easily available in local Tony Moly stores.
  • Efficient packaging.

What I didn’t like about it:

  • No English translations.
  • I can’t think of anything anymore. :)

All in all, I would give this: ♥♥♥♥

Buy again? Probably. ;)

Can you guess what’s in the Tony Moly bag? Can you also guess who’s broke? Lololol.

BB cream sampling again~ I hope my search for the perfect BB cream ends here. The Face Shop Power Perfection BB cream sure is promising. Good shade match, decent coverage, and nice glow (!) I have yet to try Etude House Precious Minerals Sheer Flawless Skin, Tony Moly Expert Triple, and Baviphat Magic Girls BB cream. :)

Ze Blogger~

Hi everyone! So I decided to separate my Beauty/Skincare blog from my Personal blog. Teehee~

My name is Renee Christopher. You can call me Renee. I am 16 years old, a Filipino. I usually blog in English, a respect to foreign followers, but I can speak Tagalog and a little French.

As a Filipino, I have tanned skin. My skin type is oily, acne-prone, and sensitive. Yes, it’s quite unfortunate isn’t it? But I learned to live with it, and do the best I can to keep it clear, healthy, and glowing. (?)

I usually try Korean skincare and cosmetics, even though I break out from most of them. But that’s just my super sensitive skin. I seem to be compatible with The Face Shop and Tony Moly. I have yet to find my HG BB Cream, but for now, I’m using one by Tony Moly.

This blog would be more of a skincare blog rather than a beauty blog. Although, I would also blog about make up, but don’t expect smokey eyes and red lips because I don’t do drag make up. Lol. I am more of the natural, no-make up look.

That’s it for now. If you have any questions, put it in my ask box. If you want to get to know me more, check out my personal blog.

So, this is my default BB cream. I use this almost everyday this year, and it never let me down. I am quite in love with this, and it’s the cheapest BB cream in Tony Moly at Php 348.00 only!
