Product Review: Tony Moly Tomatox Brightening Eye Serum

Yoboseo~! I have been gone for a looooong time, but I’m glad nobody unfollowed me. Or so, I think. I love you, beauty blog friends. *hugs*

Today, I will be reviewing Tony Moly’s Tomatox Brightening Eye Serum. It’s supposed to moisturize and get rid of dark circles. I have been using it for almost 3 months now, and I can say that I am ready to gauge its effectivity.

Of course, everything is written in Korean.

Made in Korea, Expires 12 months after opening.

It comes in a sleek squeeze tube packaging with a twist-off cap. This makes application hygienic, and easy since you can control the amount you need.

It’s a gel type product, and it’s easily absorbed by the skin. A little goes a long way, so this product would last you up to 5-6 months. So, is it effective? I can say that my dark circles have dramatically reduced. I wish I had taken before and after pictures. My dark circles are still there, but with a light layer of concealer, they’re gone. Lol. Also, the deep lines in my lower eye area are starting to disappear. Eep! Take note though, that I am using it in conjunction with an Avon’s Solutions Plus Refined White Eye cream which I’m going to review too.

What I liked about the Tomatox Eye Serum:

 • Effective, though it may take some time. But this is skincare, we all know it’s not overnight.
 • Easily absorbed by the skin.
 • Didn’t irritate my sensitive skin.
 • Smell is relaxing, nothing overpowering.
 • Price is 700+ but I got this on sale for 300+ only. It’s worth it because it would last a long time.
 • Easily available in local Tony Moly stores.
 • Efficient packaging.

What I didn’t like about it:

 • No English translations.
 • I can’t think of anything anymore. :)

All in all, I would give this: ♥♥♥♥

Buy again? Probably. ;)

LIP MADNESS REVIEWS…Soon. ;)

LIP MADNESS REVIEWS…Soon. ;)

The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil broke me out really badly. Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t think this is friendly to sensitive skin. :(

Sensitive Skin Tip 3:

If you have sensitive skin, the less product you put on your face, the better. Using more has the risk of irritating your skin. You can actually survive with just cleanser+toner+moisturizer. But if you like the korean skincare routine, double cleanse+toner+essence+emulsion+cream, make sure you are compatible with all of the products you use. Always remember to keep it simple, you have sensitive skin, you don’t have the liberty to try all the products in the shelf. That is, if you don’t want to break out like crazy.

Product Review: Human Heart Nature 100% Natural Lip Balm

I really commend Human Heart Nature. They have the perfect philosophy, and the best organic products at a very very affordable price. I actually enjoy and take pride in buying from this company because I feel, in my own little way, that I am helping my fellow Filipinos and the economy. :) You can visit their site or their Facebook page to know more about their company.

Today, I will be reviewing Human Heart Nature’s lip balm in Tutti Frutti and Peppermint.

Tutti Frutti:

What I like about it:

 • 100% Natural! No harmful products! Yayayay! I am actually sick and tired of seeing parabens everywhere.
 • It’s really moisturizing, and it’s long lasting. Unlike other lip balms I tried, I have to reapply every 1 hour or so.
 • The price! It’s affordable for Php 69.75~
 • The smell is addictive! It smells like a bubble gum I used to eat when I was a child. It’s a joy to apply this lip balm because of the scent.

What I don’t like about it:

 • Nothing really, except, I think some people would not be fond of the smell.

All in all, I would give this: ♥♥♥♥♥ Parfait pour moi!

Peppermint:

Almost the same with Tutti Frutti, only the scent is different, and it has a cooling effect. It smells like a grass or something herbal, it can be relaxing but I don’t really like it. The cooling effect is just like on Lipice lipbalms, which I don’t like either. But some people actually like the cooling effect.

All in all, I would give this: ♥♥♥♥ The scent, and the cooling effect. :<

This works like magic. You can use it as a facial mask, a nose pack, or a spot treatment for blemishes. I personally use this as a spot treatment. This trial size lasts forever! Lol, and it’s so effective too. I will definitely buy the full version of this Innisfree Jeju volcanic pore clay mask.
