The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil broke me out really badly. Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t think this is friendly to sensitive skin. :(
If you have sensitive skin, the less product you put on your face, the better. Using more has the risk of irritating your skin. You can actually survive with just cleanser+toner+moisturizer. But if you like the korean skincare routine, double cleanse+toner+essence+emulsion+cream, make sure you are compatible with all of the products you use. Always remember to keep it simple, you have sensitive skin, you don’t have the liberty to try all the products in the shelf. That is, if you don’t want to break out like crazy.
Have you ever experienced breaking out in your jaw, cheeks, forehead or chin and you don’t know why? You haven’t tried any new skincare or make up products. It might be because of your hair products. A lot of ingredients in hair care products are pore-clogging. (Source) We can’t deny that our shampoo sometimes flows into our face. Be mindful to what hair products you use since it can also irritate sensitive skin. :)
When using scrubs with beads, don’t scrub it in the face at once. Put the right amount in your palm and rub your hands. This will dissolve the beads and make it less harsh and irritating, while still exfoliating dead skin cells.
